The Oscars were last night and ratings were the lowest they've ever been, falling to under 10 million viewers for the first time ever. "Nomadland" won Best Picture, Anthony Hopkins won Best Actor and Frances McDormand won Best Actress. But Tyler Perry received the Humanitarian Award and his acceptance speech won the night. He spoke about his mom and challenged us as Americans to "refuse hate" and "meet in the middle". Watch the moving speech below:
