As we get closer to Halloween, many restaurants are rolling out Halloween themed foods, but I don't think any have taken it as far as Burger King has done this year.
The new "Nightmare King" definitely doesn't look like your regular old burger. It comes with beef, a fried chicken patty, bacon, cheese and a GREEN bun. While the green bun seems to be the most stand out part of this burger, there's something even more terrifying within.
Burger King teamed up with Paramount Trials and Florida Sleep & Neuro Diagnostic Services to conduct a sleep study. They claim that when you eat the Nightmare Burger, you are 3.5x more likely to have nightmares. I guess it's something in the proteins in the burger that cause this? They don't make that part very clear.
Honestly, you couldn't pay me to eat this thing. Not because the bun is green, or because I might have nightmares, but because I don't think chicken, bacon and beef belongs on the same burger. Just sayin'.
