So Halloween is getting here faster than I think anyone could have hoped, so I rounded up some spooky activities for you to partake in, both kiddo and non-kiddo friendly.
-Giant Pumpkin Fest (name speaks for itself, but also including face painting, balloon art, scavenger hunts, etc for kids) Free to the public, happening in Old Colorado City on October 20th
-Haunted Mines & Hellscream (both haunted houses, Haunted Mines is the new feature this year, not recommended for children under 10)
-Boo at the Zoo (great for kids, bring a costume and get ready to trick-or-treat, go through a haunted house, and see some animal shows) Going on this weekend and next, tickets start at $17.75, $3 discount if you buy advanced.
-Halloween Costume Carnival (best for children 2 to 10, including haunted trails, nature stations, and duck races, from 4-7 on October 20th at the Starsmore Visitor & Nature Center)
-Boo at the Bridge (trick-or-treating, carnival games, and family fun, all at the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park) Going on October 20th, tickets $10 if you pre-purchase
-Locomotive Halloween Bar Crawls (yeah, you heard that right, they have a variety of themes including a Harry Potter themed bus ride bar crawl) Tickets starting at $25, going on until Halloween
-Spook Out Shout Out (family friendly, including miniature golf, trick-or-treating, helicopter rides, and more) Tickets starting at $7, going on until October 28th
-Frights and Pints (a walking beer tour with a spooky twist) Going on every Wednesday and Saturday until Halloween, tickets starting at $18 a person
