Some Uber Drivers Making Money With Vomit Fraud

Uber riders are coming forward with complaints that they have been charged vomit cleanup fees even though they didn't get sick during their Uber rides.

If you vomit in an Uber you are charged a cleaning fee so the Uber driver can get their car detailed. Charges can range from $80 to $165. An Uber driver has to turn the claim and pictures into Uber to get the money.

According to a report in the Miami Herald Uber sides with the driver first and then is reluctant to investigate customer complaints.

One rider who was charged a cleaning fee says Uber sent him photos of his alleged "mess" and it wasn't even the car he rode in.
