Sarah Goodman and her husband were at a wedding reception last month in Overland Park, Kansas inside the Tomahawk Ridge Community Center.
Surveillance video shows their son, Troy, hug a sculpture and then it fell over.
Sarah said, “We heard a bunch of commotion and I thought, 'Whose yelling at my son? This glass mosaic torso is laying on the ground and someone is following me around demanding my personal information.”
Sarah and her husband received a letter from an insurance company saying they were negligent for not monitoring their children and now owe $132-thousand dollars.
Sarah says the sculpture should have had a do not touch sign or some kind of protection. She also said they are in touch withe their homeowners insurance to figure out how to pay the bill and to see if this case can be taken to a lawyer.
