Britney Spears no longer lives in America, and there is one large factor that contributed to her decision to leave the country.
The "Toxic" hitmaker recently celebrated a birthday, and with it, announced why she chose to move out of the United States, shining an unforgiving spotlight on paparazzi who continue to hurt her feelings.
"It really kind of hurts my feelings that the paparazzi make it look like I'm wearing like a white Jason [Voorhees] mask. It doesn't even look like me. They've always been incredibly cruel to me... the paparazzi, in pictures and the way they've illustrated me to be. I know I am not perfect at all, by any means, but some of it is extremely mean and cruel."
The songstress continued, revealing where she now holds residence.
"And that's why I moved to Mexico."
Spears offered a "cheers" in the caption of the post as it was shared on her 43rd birthday, the same day her divorce from ex Sam Asghari was finalized.
Not only is the "Womanizer" songstress officially single to kick off her 43rd trip around the sun, but she's living in a different country and embarking on an exciting, new chapter of life.
