If You Live In Colorado, Amazon Prime Deliveries Aren't Free Anymore

Though this has been in effect for over a month, it was news to me when I went to pay for my order on Amazon last night.

From amazon.com:

Effective July 1, 2022, Colorado imposes a retail delivery fee of $0.27 on all deliveries by motor vehicle to a location in Colorado with at least one item of tangible personal property subject to state sales or use tax.

This tax is a part of new transportation funding bill that is supposed to bring in $1.2 billion over the next decade. At least it's only $0.27. I guess it could be a lot worse!
