Lindsey Jacobellis won Team USA's first gold medal at the Winter Games in Beijing after narrowly missing out on a victory in 2006. She won in the snowboard cross event yesterday. Back in 2006 she almost won gold in the same event but at the end of the race she did a celebratory grab off the final jump and fell, allowing another snowboarder to pass her. SEE THE WIN.
At 36 years old she's the oldest American female to medal at the Winter Games.
