This is every landlord's nightmare!!
This Colorado Springs home listing is going viral and you can probably see why below. The previous tenant was upset that they were evicted so they completely trashed the place. They spray painted obscenities all over the walls and floors, left expired meat in the freezer in the basement (which hadn't run for who knows how long). They say the smell in the house is so bad they can only stand being inside for a few minutes at a time, not just from the rotting meat, but also from animal and human fecal matter in the house. There were even dead cats in the bathroom. They say there's about $150,000 in damage. Despite all that, the house is still being listed for $600,000. Read more here.
