Colorado Mask Mandate Lifted for Certain Counties

Today it was announced that the mask mandate would be lifted for Colorado counties in Level Green on the COVID dial. Currently only 31 counties are in Level Green (find them here). Because kids ages 11-15 are not eligible to receive the vaccine, masks are still required in schools for Level Green counties , along with beauty salons and health care facilities. These changes go into effect tomorrow (Saturday, April 3rd).

Much of the state still remains in Level Blue or Yellow, which means masks are required when indoors in these counties. If cases drop and these counties move down to Level Green, masks may no longer be required. Otherwise, they'll revisit the mask mandate again in 30 days. Get more info here.
