Boy Hands Out Flowers to King Soopers Employees Following Boulder Tragedy

What a extraordinary act of kindness and love.

An 11-year old Northern Colorado boy named JJ Witmer wanted to show his appreciation for those working at King Soopers following last week's tragedy in Boulder so he went to the Brighton store, about 25 miles from where the shooting took place, and handed out flowers to each of the employees the day after the shooting. He used the money he'd made walking dogs to buy carnations from a local flower shop. When the florist found out what he was doing, she offered him a discount. As he was walking through the store handing out flowers, he thanked each of the employees for being there, even though he knew it must have been very difficult. Some employees were moved to tears.
