The newest edition of our COVID dial goes into effect today in Colorado and this is expected to be the last devolution of the dial. Dial 3.0 loosens capacity restrictions and makes it easier for counties to move to Level Green. Most counties in Colorado are currently in Level Yellow or Blue, but more counties have been able to move to Level Green with the rollout of the new dial. Under the new restrictions, bars can now reopen and certain gyms and restaurants can begin operating at full capacity as long as social distancing rules are followed.
The new update does not effect the current mask mandate, but Governor Polis is expected to address that next week.
