Food Company Helps Mom After She Reached Out About Autistic Son

A company called Nature's Path recently discontinued their maple cinnamon frozen waffles, which was a big problem for one mom in British Columbia. Her son is autistic and has complex eating challenges and those waffles were the only thing he'd eat, so she feared that after they were discontinued, she'd no longer be able to feed him. When the company heard about this, they tracked down all the remaining boxes of waffles and delivered them to her for free. They were also able to adapt the recipe so when she does run out, she can now make the waffles at home. This is a major relief for the mom who had already created a GoFundMe in effort to track down and buy every remaining box of waffles. Read more here.
