The views at the summit of Pikes Peak are always worth making the drive to the top, just don't expect to buy any souvenirs or donuts when you get there. The original Summit House is now officially closed for good. It'll be torn down to make room for the new Summit House, which should be open later this year (and so far it looks AMAZING!)
