Mayoral Candidates in Small Kentucky Town Include 13 Dogs and a Donkey

Even though this isn't the most important election happening today, I'm still here for it. Rabbit Hash, a town of 400 in Kentucky, is electing a new mayor today. The candidates include 13 dogs, a donkey, a rooster, a dead cat and one human who doesn't really have a shot at winning because an animal has been elected unofficial mayor for the past 22 years. The current mayor is a pitbull named Brynn. Doesn't look like she'll be re-elected, though. Right now a French bulldog named Wilbur is in the lead.

It's actually all a fundraiser for the Rabbit Hash Historical Society. They're trying to raise $50,000 this year. Find out more here.
