Mariah Carey's Rep Responds To Rumors By Confirming She's Not Polyamorous

Mariah Carey is back in the tabloids after being accused of being flirtatious with current boyfriend Bryan Tanaka while she was still engaged to her former fiancé James Parker, but her rep has released a statement on the fuss.

In case you haven't heard, DailyMailTV recently obtained footage of the pop icon giving a lap dance to Tanaka at a hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark, which was reportedly shot in March 2016. That date doesn't look good for Carey since she got engaged to Parker in January 2016, before calling everything off in October 2016. Shortly after, the industry veteran started dating the backup dancer. To respond to the controversy, a representative for Carey released a statement, clarifying that the singer is not polyamorous.

"We have not been privy to the content in question and cannot confirm from whence it came nor when, however as stated numerous times in the past, Mariah is not polyamorous," her rep said via Just Jared.

Nonetheless, Carey doesn't appear too worried about all the mess by the looks of her Instagram account. After recently wrapping up her "Caution World Tour," the singer was spotted having a "girls night out" with Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Pamela Anderson.
