How To Volunteer For WorldPride NYC: Get The Details

NYC Pride (or WorldPride NYC in this year's case) is made possible because of volunteers and you have the opportunity to partake in opportunities for a string of the city's big events like the Pride March, Pride Island, VIP Rooftop Party, Teaze, or Femme Fatale.

If you want to get into the mix for the 2019 festivities, head on over to the official Pride volunteering website. All applicants must be 18 years of age (or 21 or older for the party-based events). In the application, folks must fill out basic information, including contact information, availability, as well as the skills and qualifications that apply to them. "Heritage of Pride is committed to recruiting dedicated, reliable volunteers to assist in the production and execution of New York City’s annual Pride events," reads a description on the NYC Pride volunteering website. "Though volunteers need not identify as LGBTQIA+, it is imperative that all volunteers be LGBTQIA+ affirming and support the ongoing struggle for full equality. Through training and support, Heritage of Pride aims to empower volunteers and encourage their ongoing participation in the organization’s annual planning." Click here to fill out this year's form!
