Every Friday afternoon as the workday is winding down, I always find myself thinking; What am I going to do this weekend? Especially with the summer winding down, you want to make every weekend count right? Well, I am here to tell you there are still some really awesome summer activities you can do this weekend that won't break the bank and are (mostly) kid-friendly.
-Teddy Bear Day at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo ($9.75 for kids 3-11, $.75 for kids 2-under)
-Old Colorado City Car Show ($35 to register, free to spectators, family friendly)
-Rhythm & Brews Block Party ($5 per person, Military and families free, going from Pikes Peak Street Tejon to Nevada)
-Musical Swings in Green Mountain Falls (free to enter, following normal park hours)
-Cripple Creek and Victor Gold Mine Museum ($8.50 per person, make reservations in advance)
I'm sure there are even more events going on that I missed so let me know what you are doing this weekend!
