Spokane man raises enough money to pay off student lunch debt

When Robert Howe's daughter came home and told him about a little girl who was ashamed because she didn't have the same lunch as everyone else, he knew he had to do something.

With the help of Jason Ferraro and others in the community, Howe has organized a benefit dinner at Ferraro's. The money raised will go into a benevolence fund to help kids get the lunch they want during this upcoming school year.

The dinner is on Sunday, August 26th at 6p and you can get tix online for $50. A ticket will buy you dinner and entries into two separate raffles for prizes.
