Seasme Street is suing over new puppet movie 'The Happytime Murders'

The creators of "Sesame Street" are suing the producers of "The Happytime Murders", which is a new, VERY R-RATED puppet movie starring Melissa McCarthy.

The tagline of the film is "No Sesame. All Street" and Sesame Street creators say the movie tarnishes its "trusted brand", especially after the release of the uncensored trailer that can be found HERE which features violence, drug use, profanity and sexual acts...all involving puppets. What's interesting to me is that Jim Henson's SON Brian DIRECTED the film.

Producers of "The Happytime Murders" say, "While we're disappointed that 'Sesame Street' does not share in the fun, we are confident in our legal position." We'll see what happens.
