Listen To Tinashe Return To Her Roots On Offset-Featured 'No Drama'

Just as she teased, Tinashe has unleashed one of her three new tracks and the release sees her exploring her urban roots with the help of Offset of Migos on the swag-filled cut song called "No Drama."

At almost three-and-half-minutes, the song, which dropped on Thursday (January 18) and is set to appear on her sophomore effort, JoyRide, hears the budding star singing about the lavish lifestyle of a pop star as well as her urge to steer clear of any drama. Produced by StarGate, the brooding cut fits well into the trap-filled climate and, truth be told, it's quite refreshing to see the star return to her urban roots after the release of "Flame." Offset's appearance on the track also offers some buzz, particularly with his name at the top of most hip-hop blogs. Despite leaking a day before the track was released, Tinashe will still appear on TRL on Thursday to premiere the video for the track.

Among the other two cuts that she has lined up for fans include "Me So Bad," which is rumored to featured French Montana, and "Faded Love," which is rumored to feature FutureIt's been a long time coming for Tinashe's Joyride, but let's cross our fingers that the 24-year-old is able to put the car into high gear with at least one of these new songs.

Last June, Tinashe provided an update on the heavily-delayed LP, telling The Guardian that things were still in the works for the project. "Things haven't always gone according to my original plan," she said. "But that's life, and things change. It's not like it’s sitting in a vault locked up, it's always getting better and improving. I plan on doing a solid few more months recording then hopefully getting it out this year."
