The world is mourning the loss of Alex Trebek who passed away on Sunday morning at the age of 80 after battling Stage IV pancreatic cancer. Tributes have been pouring in from viewers, collages and former contestants, including Burt Thakur who thanked Alex Trebek for teaching him English when he was a child.
Because of his illness, Alex Trebek filmed several Jeopardy! episodes in advance, the last of which will air on Christmas Day.
