Earlier this week Southwest Airlines announced that starting next year, they would start service out of the Colorado Springs Airport. It's great news for all of us here in Southern Colorado who want more flying options other than driving all the way to DIA. Today, Southwest revealed exactly when that service will start, as well as the routes that will be offered.
Starting March 11th, you can fly Southwest out of the Colorado Springs Airport to the following locations:
- $29 one-way nonstop between Colorado Springs and Denver (four times daily)
- $59 one-way nonstop between Colorado Springs and Las Vegas (twice daily)
- $59 one-way nonstop between Colorado Springs and Phoenix (twice daily)
- $69 one-way nonstop between Colorado Springs and Dallas (Love Field) (three times daily)
- $89 one-way nonstop between Colorado Springs and Chicago (Midway) (twice daily)
