Job Description:

    Clear Channel Radio Colorado Springs is looking for a dynamic sales person to join our winning team Responsibilities for this position include:
  • Identification and solicitation of new business, service, and expansion of existing accounts
  • Negotiate business based on industry ratings in order to maximize station revenue and share
  • Achieve revenue and share goals set by Sales Manager
  • Utilize available resources in marketing, operations and sales to present company in best possible light
  • Develop persuasive proposals in response to client needs
  • Ensure client satisfaction
  • Prepare sales orders and production requests in a timely manner
  • Ensure prompt payment of client billings
  • Adhere to minimum standards of performance as established by Sales Manager

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years successful sales experience
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to exercise judgment and operate independently
  • Must be proactive, and have a high ability to problem solve
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must understand FCC rules and regulations relating to advertising copy
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license
